In times when the erasure of history is too often a political tool, we stand resolutely in the belief that history, culture, and identity must be preserved. And we are doing just that.
It is with great pride and immense purpose that we re-introduce Africa House—our dedicated, meta-physical space for the documentation, preservation, and dissemination of the diverse cultures of the African diaspora. Africa House is not just a building. It is a sanctuary, a hub of research, creativity, and solidarity, where future leaders, academics, artists, culturalists, politicians, and activists can come together to deepen their knowledge, nurture their work, and reflect on the struggles and triumphs that have shaped our collective history.
As we navigate these politically turbulent times in the United States, the preservation of culture and history becomes even more essential. Erasure takes time, deliberate lawmaking, and calculated indifference. But so does preservation. Preservation demands patience, intention, and community—something we can achieve when we come together with a shared goal.
Africa House is not just for today. It is for tomorrow and beyond. It is a legacy that will outlast us all.
We are building more than a physical space; we are building generational wealth. Generational wealth isn’t just about money—it’s about creating institutions, cultural repositories, and safe spaces where knowledge, history, and solidarity can flourish. These spaces will continue to empower generations of scholars, creators, and activists who will carry the torch forward.
We believe that our greatest strength lies in our unity, our unwavering commitment to each other, and to the generations that will come after us. Solidarity is a movement. It is a necessity. And it is how we will collectively build the future we deserve.
We invite you, our SAiD community, to support this mission. Your financial contributions, time, and thoughtful input will directly impact the growth and success of Africa House. This is bigger than any of us—it is Africa, it is America, and it is ours—for us, by us.
We ask you to stand with us in this monumental task. Invest in the future of our culture. Invest in the future of Africa House.
With all being SAiD,
